Common questions

Is the Commercial Aquatic Operator Certification CMRAO accredited?

Yes. The Commercial Aquatic Operator Certification offered by Superior Pool Spa & Leisure is a CMRAO accredited course.

Does Ontario Regulation 565 require a trained pool operator?

Yes. Ontario Regulation 565 requires public pools, including condo, hotel, and apartment pools, to have a designated, trained operator. It does not name one specific certificate, so facilities choose training that prepares their operator. This course provides that training on site.

The course is $399 per session, not per person. One session covers up to five participants, which works out to under $80 per person when full.

Where is the course held?

On site at your own facility anywhere in the Greater Toronto Area, including Toronto, Markham, Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Mississauga, Brampton, Oakville, Pickering, and Ajax.

How long is the course and how many people can attend?

Each session is five hours and is limited to five participants, so everyone gets hands-on time.

What is included?

Five hours of on-site instruction, course materials for every participant, the certification, and free access to an AI assistant trained on the course material.
